iPod touch 3rd jailbreak

I have a iPod touch 3rd gen with 4.2.1 installed I tried to use greenpois0n and I did everything it said but it won't recognize my iPod in DFU mode what can I do!!?

Same thing with me and i cant do anything on cydia

Some steps to take:

1) turn phone off
2) follow the timer in GP
3) if it fails, close GP, and open it again (do not try to do anything with your phone, leave it)
4) follow the timer again
5) repeat above steps until it allows you to hit the jailbreak button. DO NOT LET GO OF THE HOME BUTTON THOUGH when you get the jailbreak button to open up.
6) hold home button until all the codes are gone and the apple/greenpois0n logo shows up.

I've tried that and it still dosing work:/

Try this method then:

1) manually set into DFU mode yourself. Turn phone off
2) hold power 2 seconds
3) then press home (still holding lower) 15 seconds
4) release power and hold home and don't let go
5) open Greenpois0n
6) hit jailbreak
7) keep holding home still
8) you can let go of home after you see the Apple/Greenpois0n logo

You might need to turn off your firewall or login to the administrator's account and jailbreak it from there.

Too late I already upgraded to 4.3 now I'ma wait for the next jailbreak thanks neways!!
