Making Custom Icons Problem

When ever I make an icon and make it as a theme in winterboard and apply it, it's always oversized. I make it the appropriate size. (120x120 on iPod 4) The only way to "fix" it is if I for example: go to var/mobile/Applications/Doodlejump.app and manually replace the icon.png file so it isn't enabled in winterboard. But I don't want that. On my old iPod 2G, I never had this problem. Any help????
