    Default Jailbreak 1G from Non-Jailbroken 2.2.1 to 3.1.2

    Hi,
I have a 1G iPod touch, with originial 2.2.1 FW.
I also have a custom IPSW for 3.1.2, the IPSW is fine (since I've tested it on another 1G).
However when I get the iPod into DFU mode and apply custom FW with latest iTunes, it gets stuck at "Preparing your iPod" step and device does not exit DFU mode. (Then I manually exit DFU mode and continue booting 2.2.1)
I also tried latest iReb and it fails too.
    What do you suggest?

No the firmware version is too old it is only for 3.1.2 and above up to 4.0.1 which in his case 3.1.3 is the highest
