[HELP] Downgrade iPod 2G from 4.2 to 4.0
Hey,
Well yeah, does anyone know how to downgrade an iPod 2G from 4.2 to 4.0? I downloaded the firmware and held shift and click restore, but it said the the original 2G firmware wasnt right, so yeah does anyone know how to do this?

are you sure it's an iPod 2g? Also are you downloading the right firmware?

Not for me says it cannot be found?
+ Apparntley it does not work. So any ideas on how to downgrade? Btw I Havent done the thing where u add a a line thing to the bottom of a file in the drivers folder, this why it wont work?

4.2 is for devs or the gm (golden master) 4.2.1 is for public release.
