ipod touch 3 fails to jailbreak !!! HELP !

ive got a ipod3 8gb version with currently ispw 4.2.1
ive tryed many things but redsn0w was the only thing that actuallt started.

but now im trying to jailbreak my ipod and then it gets stuck at:
'Exploiting with limerain'
ive tryed redsnow 0.9.6b6 but also all the older versions and restoring with other ispw's.

PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE

use green poison rc6 not redsnow. And ur ipod is actually a 2g.3g 8gb models are actually 2g apple was being bitchy and passed it off as a 3g. redsnow has a lot of problems and greenpoison is easier to use. download from here:

I'm having the same problem. Restored several times and used Gp rc5, rc6, limera1n rc1.. Which all failed although redsn0w actually loaded a useless white cydia icon that crashes. Restored again and waiting for answers?

using GP, what happened after it completed if it completed at all. a whole bunch of command prompts are normal. then it should reboot.

After prompting me to put it in dfu and doing so... It says "jailbreakng" followed by "jailbreak failed " no other errors or anything.... Could it be iTunes? I think bonjor

.. Might not be working properly... Could that effect it? It's also telling me my iTunes backup is corrupt yet I restored from new and stuff.

Does greenpoison interact with I tunes at all during the jailbreaking process? If so I will reinstall iTunes 10.1 fresh
