Can't find Lockinfo on Cydia

I just jailbroke my latest gen iPod Touch, but can't find Lockinfo on Cydia. I did a search, I also manually browsed, but can't find it. I found themes for it, but not the package itself. Do I need to add a different source or something?

Cydia is overwhelmed today because like you many people have just used the new jailbreak and are all trying to use Cydia at once. I am trying to download a couple of packages and they just time out. Lockinfo is from ModMyi which has definitely been gridlocked today. At least I have the products listed like Lockinfo because the old data is still there from the last time I used Cydia.

Not if ModMyi is listed in Manage > Sources. Cydia should have installed 5 sources: BigBoss, ModMyi, repo666, Telesphoreo, and ZodTTD.

It's not listed there, but it's listed under the installed packages. I tried to manually add it to the source list, but not sure if I was putting in the right addy.

im having this problem also...
i restored my phone today, and ran Pkgbackup, and it wont install Pop Up Blocker or Lockinfo... yet it worked last night...

my modmyi in installed packages always times out also.
any help would be appreciated

I assume your talking about ModMyi? If it's already in Packages, don't try to add it in Sources; reinstall it in Packages: go to Manage > Packages > ModMyi.com > Modify > Reinstall. Do the same for any others of those sources that are in Packages but not Sources.

During the Superbowl halftime I was able to install the two packages that had been failing to install all day. Go Green Bay! We're not Steelers fans here in Maryland...Now I'll go back to watch the rest.

can we get help please? i want to install lockinfo but it is not showing up when i search...

also, the modmyi repo is showing up as a package, not a source. i tried reinstalling it, i tried adding it via ssh. nothing is working...

additionally when installing any package, rather hosted by modmyi or not, i get a message saying that modmyi has timed out. why would modmyi be doing anything if i'm not downloading a package from them?

I was able to install something from modmyi during the game, but probably because no one else was. Everyone try again tomorrow. Try uninstalling modmyi.com from packages, exiting Cydia, re-starting Cydia, and re-installing modmyi. Worst case scenario is, you might have to reinstall Cydia, but to do that you would have to have OpenSSH or iFile installed. Sort of a Catch 22 if you can't install anything.

If you want to give adding the repo to Sources a try, I think the address is:
http://modmyi.com/cydia/
Cydia will reject it if it's not a valid address.

Finally got it installed then I removed it because it had a message icon in my status bar despite not having a single unread message.

same here. I tried last night again around midnight and Cydia finally add modmyi as a source (as opposed to package) and lockinfo showed up then!

Why does it show a message icon when I have no messages?
