4.2.1 on greenpoison please help
hello there
i have ipod touch running 4.2.1. the device is never jailbroken before. im trying to jail break it now using the greenpoisin that was just release today. i follow all the steps, the green poison app shows me that the jailbreak process is complete. but for my ipod touch i just stuck in the recovery mode, (where is shows me that i have to connect it to the itunes)
is there is any fix for this ??Last edited by Alolo; 02-04-2011 at 11:23 AM.

Try doing a fresh restore first then trying again, make sure you use the updated version rc5-2

I would start fresh by restoring first like I said.

You have 2 options: Use the loader icon to install cydia (which could take all day) or install cydia with redsnow 0.9.6 b4 or higher

It will still be untethered. See the info on it here: iClarified - Apple News - RedSn0w Can Be Used to Install Cydia Over GreenPois0n
Basically you are just using redsnow to isntall cydia for you. Greenpoison still does the untethered jailbreak.

Does GreenPoison work for iPod Touch 2G models? I have firmware 3.1.2 and want to upgrade it to the newest one but only if I can jailbreak it.
