I have an older 3G iPod touch and It used to be at 3.0 firmware now I've got it at 4.2.1 and it's pissin me off. My battery life is crap.
I was wondering, since I have already saved my SHSH blobs with newest tinyumbrella, and I can't seem to find reliable info on how you would downgrade to a jailbreakable firmware version.
I really need to have a an untethered jailbreak.
And I need my iPod touch to continue to e reliable because I use it for important tasks (classified) lol.

Depends on what SHSHs are saved. If they're saved then run tinyumbrella's TSS server and shift+restore to the desired fw that you have SHSHs saved for. Then it should be fine.
Well that's another thing. Idk where tiny umbrella saved them. Lol. And I changed the preference to save into my desktop. Now they don't even show up so I can use the shift+restore option.
Sorry I've just ran into problem after problem. And I'm missing IPSW stuff that I also put on desktop. Don't know where they are. I even did windows hidden search.
Yes tiny umbrella says they're saved on Cydia's server.
Cydia? It just says this thing, "Cydia has your SHSH blobs. Do not bug ---- on the Cydia server now. "
Or something like that. My computer I have that has all of my tools for jb has a broken power supply.
I've used limera1n and it said I was complete with jb. I don't have any diagnosed jb effects
Ex. No Cydia. No crashes or anything.
I downloaded all current jailbreakers
Limera1n redsn0w and such. I can't find out where my IPSW is for any version. And I've downloaded 4.0 and it doesn't even how in the search query when I'm looking for IPSW files with jailbreak tools.
You've got to excuse my vocabulary I'm really sorry if I said anything I wasn't supposed to on this forum. And thanks for helpin me.
