Default Just Another JB and Cydia Problem : Cydia Crashes After Restore!

    Hi...

Yesterday i tried to add the XSellize source to my LimeRa1ned Ipod Touch 4G (running iOS 4.1), but after adding i had experienced some errors regarding to cache in cydia... but since I was new to JB-ing and Cydia, I decided to remove cydia.app with Iphone Browser having that folder backed up in my computer.... when I removed Cydia.app the icon gone and Then i tried to Jb again because having Cydia is very important to me(I want my Ipod to run Android with Bootlace)... Then i was very upset seeing that JB-ing again hadn't restored the Cydia... so I copied the Backed Up Cydia.app folder to my Ipod with Iphone Browser expecting it to run... but unfortunately it crashes on startup(I only see something like a black box coming over my screen from the center -seemes to be an effect- .. and then it crashes to SB!!!)...

I have deleted that God Damned source from private/var/.. but it doesn't start though....

And just to inform I just searched all over Google, but unfortunately I haven't got any SSH software on my Ipod.....

    any solutions?

    EDIT :

I noticed that there is a solution... to Restore my ipod with iTunes but since I got a very slow internet connection(128 k that downloads about 15 kilobytes/s) download a restore file is taking too long...
and another problem is that restoring may delete all my programs and that really seems scary to me!!!

First off bootlace won't run on your iPod. Second can't just SSH cydia on, you need to install it. Finally that source is known to have cracked apps, so you aren't going to get much sympathy or help here.

That right there tells me you can't run it, only iPhone 2G/3G and iPod 1G can run bootlace due to the bootrom they have.
    2. whether ssh'ing it on will work is beside the point, you said it yourself you don't have ssh software on your iPod, and the only way to get them is through cydia.
    3. Xsellize is the one in question. You said you were trying to install it.

If you have iFile or OpenSSH installed on your phone, you should be able to reinstall Cydia.

    Reinstalling with iFile (easiest way):
[ame=http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2518715&postcount=6]iFans - iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch Fans forums - View Single Post - Cydia Backup files[/ame]

Reinstalling via SSH (requires OpenSSH on your phone):
Download this file on your computer:
    http://apt.saurik.com/debs/cydia_1.0...honeos-arm.deb
It is the current version of Cydia.
Use an SSH client on your computer (like WinSCP, for Windows, or Cyberduck(?) for Mac) to put the Cydia .deb file in /tmp on your iPod. Then in the terminal of the SSH client (such as the WinSCP terminal), send these commands to your iPod:

    cd /tmp
    dpkg -i cydia_1.0.3366-1_iphoneos-arm.deb

    Then respring or reboot.
