Downgrade!!!

Hey there. I'm havin trouble finding a way to downgrade my itouch. I got a 4g this christmas, thus makin me have to download 4.2.1 firmware.

I didnt realize that cydia was pretty much useless on this firmware. Its really aggravating.

Also, me havin to download 4.2.1 made it impossible for me
to save any prior shsh blobs on cydia's "make my life easier" feature.

So when i see all these downgrade walkthroughs and they all tell me how i must have whichever shsh blob i'm wanting to downgrade to saved on cydia, i get pretty frustrated.

So pretty much for a recap, downgrade from 4.2.1 to 4.0.1 (or another, maybe something later like 4.1 as long as it runs well with all cydia apps), no shsh blob, and i'm runnin on windows.

Any help will be much obliged.

I see a pretty good bit of pages on google talking about downgrading without shsh blobs. That just a bunch of crap?

There anywhere to download shsh blobs? I know you can download firmwares, thats what i used to jb. Aren't they along the same lines?

you can downgrade mb models. iPod touch 2g and iPhone 3G without shsh blobs, and all the products d
before them. but 3rd and 4th gen iPod and iPhone need shsh blobs. shsh blobs are device specific so if you don't have your shsh blobs, you're screwed on 4.2.1 unfortunately cause tethered jb sucks!

Damn, yea it does. I guess i'll wait for untethered jb for windows to come out, and for cydia's apps to become 4.2.1 friendly.
