    Default Itouch upgrade question

    Hi guys, i now have with me a itouch 3g 8gb that was jailbroken on 3.1.3 firmware.. i was jus wondering if its possible for me to upgrade to the newest jailbreakable firmware and if so will all my data that i currently have disappear or still remain ?

    Are you sure you have a 3G Touch? I think the 8GB was still technically a 2G.

    As far as I know the 8gb is still technically a 2G. If it had a model number beginning in MC then the latest it can go to and still be able to jailbreak is 4.1.
