I have an itouch 4g and I don't know what type of jailbreak I want or anything can anyone tell me a simple way to jailbreak my itouch?

It should. You're probably doing something wrong. You should list what errors or problems you're running into, just saying it's not working does not diagnose if it is your device not taking the jb or user error.
