Stuck in Recovery Mode for redsn0w jailbreak 4.2.1 on Ipod Touch 4g

So I bought my ipod touch 4g about 1 month ago and recently I've been having problems with my ipod touch such as apps keep crashing and my wallpapers stop working. This was when I was on iOS 4.1. So I decided to restore my ipod back to factory setting on my ipod so I can rejailbreak it with limera1n to iOS 4.1 just in case the jailbreak didn't go well. As I did that I found out that my SHSH blob was not saved. Now my ipod is stuck on the apple logo (Recovery Mode). The only choice I saw was to use redsn0w jailbreak 4.2.1 tethered.

I've used every means to make it work on redsn0w such as: running as administrator, running in compatibility mode windows xp (service pack 2), and set affinity to cpu 1.

It says that the jailbreak was successful and that the rest of the process takes place on the ipod. The furtherest it has come to is the image of a running pineapple and with the download bar of "Jailbreaking Filesystem". It eventually returns back to Recovery Mode. I really need help please.
