How to Upgrade to 3.1.3 Urgent!

Hi i want to update my ipod touch 2nd gen to 3.1.3 (i am currently using 3.1.2) because i want to get free games that are not available on my current software but i notice that on itunes it will only let me update to 4.2 which will cancel my jailbreak rendering it useless so i was wondering if there was a simple way to update to 3.1.3 (i used jailbreakme.com) your help would be much appreciated but i am not a computer wiz so if you have any help for me it must be VERY VERY VERY simple as i do not know anything about computers (a video with a step by step guide would be great if you have the time)

Do you have SHSH blobs saved for 3.1.3? It would say on the top of your Cydia main screen. If not, I don't think you can do it.

If you are running 3.1.2 then how would he have SHSH blobs for 3.1.3 I'm sorry but you're stuck with that firmware unless you update to the latest firmware 4.2.1 which is currently only a tethered jailbreak meaning you have to connect to a pc to reboot everytime you turn your device off.

You could get them by running TinyUmbrella when 3.1.3 was being signed by Apple. Thanks to TinyUmbrella, I have SHSH blobs saved for 4.2b3 and 4.2.1 even though I am running 4.1. But you are right in a way because, if he was using TinyUmbrella, he wouldn't be asking the question.
