Noob who researched too much info and doesnt know what to do....
ok, let's start.
I have a 2G iPod Touch MC modeled. i accidentally upgraded to 4.2.1 when originally 3.1.3(stupid stupid stupid!) I'm using Windows XP Service pack 2 computer.
I need help jailbreaking and i researched way too much info. i found that MC models had a lot of restrictions, especially when upgraded to 4.2.1.....
So, if someone could find me an untethered JB program (redsn0w preferably) and the firmware corresponding it. PLEASE! that would help a lot.

If you really want an untethered jailbreak, then downgrade to 4.1 and jailbreak with greenpois0n or sn0wbreeze 2.1 or 2.0.2(for custom boot logo). redsn0w won't be untethered.

oh really? thanx. but wut's this Cydia thing and how do i download that app?

Cydia is the app you get when you jailbreak your iPod. Cydia is where you go to Download everything like themes, game emulators,tweaks, etc. It's basically like icy or whatever you might have used before.

lol, thnx jtf742, for recommending Greenp0ison and downgrade. it works perfectly untethered ^_^
