iOS 4.2
Is there any way to jailbreak an ipod touch with iOS 4.2?
I checked a tutorial here but 4.2 wasn't listed.
Please help I'm a noob

Do you have ur 4.1 shsh's saved because if you jIlbreak it will be tethered meaning everytime you turn it on you will have to plug it back into the computer.

Ok then, you don't for sure. I'm not sure you want your iPod tethered and if I were you I'd wait for the untethered to come out. The is no ETA though. If you do want it tethered or don't care just say so and I'll be more than happy to help.

I dont want my ipod tethtered.
I just found this guide.
By following this guide will my ipod end up tethered?

On 4.2.1 for your iPod it is a tethered jailbreak right now.
