What is up with me and reading titles today.
Anyway you can use redsn0w0.9.6b6 but the generation can help giving more detail about the jailbreak.

It is not recommended that you use 4.2.1 for JailBreaking purposes, I strongly recommend you downgrade to 4.1 to have no issues.

Downgrading requires SHSHs. If those are available for 4.1 and below, then do so.

If you have a MB model then you can jailbreak with redsnow 0.9.6b6. If you have a MC model then there is no jailbreak for you yet for 4.2.1
