I need a lot of help please!!
Okay, so here's the problem. I jailbroke my iPod Touch 4g 4.1 firmware with limera1n maybe a week ago. Everything was fine, and then all of a sudden I don't see any sources or packages. I tried looking at videos on Youtube about getting my sources back, but those steps don't work for me because I have absolutely nothing in Cydia. How can I fix this without having to do something that will get rid of all of my stuff that I have on my iPod?
I appreciate any help that I can get.

This may be a glitch in Cydia (OBVIOUSLY) or something worse. Either way, you'll need to restore and re-jailbreak.

Okay, how do I do this? This is my first iPod Touch. Will I lose the apps that I've bought?

Thanks!
Now how do I restore? Pushing "sync" didn't restore it, or should I just uninstall limera1n?

It really doesn't matter. You may repurchase items from the app store at no cost, if you already bought them. My brother bought some apps that I like so I downloaded the same ones, and it said that because I have already purchased it, I can download it again for free.

How do I restore without having to update the firmware?

Only possible if you backed the SHSH up for that firmware when Apple was signing them
Right now apple is ONLY signing 4.2.1
If you happened to backup the SHSH files then there is many other threads on MMI devoted to your answer as I am not 100% certain how to do this something to do with TinyUmbrella and running a/the server

You might try reinstalling Cydia. It can't make things worse. Do you have iFile? You can get the .deb file for Cydia at this link:
http://apt.saurik.com/debs/cydia_1.0...honeos-arm.deb
Then use iPhoneBrowser (Windows) (or its Mac equivalent, I don't know that), or SSH if you have it set up, to put the .deb file somewhere like /var/stash on your ipod, then iFile to it and click on it and select "Installer" from the menu.
