Then you wont be able to go to 4.1. You will need a custom 4.2.1 to restore. Do you have access to a Mac?

No, I do not. Is there a link where I can download a custom 4.2.1 firmware?

Because you're already in 4.2.1, try restore mode (not DFU) to reload with the custom firmware. This worked sometimes on prior versions .... maybe it still works on 4.2.1.

Also, have you tried to kick it out with TU or iRecovery? Not sure what 1600 means and how important dfu is for a current 4.2.1 and old/new bootrom. Too many options to remember (haha

    I need a flow chart (a big one )

You need to use redsnow to put the phone in pwned dfu first. Then you can restore to the custom firmware in itunes.
