Redsnow not working.

I'm the latest version of redsnow trying to jailbreak 4.1 on my mc model ipt2g. Whenever I try to I get this message in the image. Any help?

Thats odd, I dont remember the dev team saying it wasnt supported. You can try greenpoison on it.

I finally decided to give back to this community, I too have a Ipod Touch 3g/2g MC model 8gig currently running IOS 4.1 and Jailbroken. I had many failures with Redsnow, Greenpoison, and Limerain. same message as you. I would like to know if you have an 8gig touch as well? On to the Resolution I found. I am a Hackintosh user also Dell Mini 10v MAC OSX (for testing purposes only of course) I could not use MAC OSX to solve the problem. I used Windows XP and Snowbreeze 2.1 at iH8sn0w.com | Jailbreak your iPod touches and iPhones. It says its a tetherd jailbreak yet mine will boot perfectly fine on its own.

Greenpoison didn't work for me either. I got to the DFU mode and then hit "Jailbreak" and it just said "Failed" Both Greenpoison and Redsnow should be working for me. My iPod is the 8gb version released late 2009. I don't have a windows computer so snowbreeze isn't an option for me.

Also instead of using redsnow 0.9.6b4 try redsnow 0.9.6b1

Run in admin and compatibility mode!

1. Does Pwnagetool work for the MC model?

2. Do you have a download link for Beta 1?

3. Already said I'm on a Mac. Admin mode and Compatibility mode don't exist.

1.) I connected my iPod 2nd Generation (MC Model) to iTunes.

2.) I clicked on the devices tab and restored my iPod using the specific file "iPod2,1_4.1_8B117_Restore.ipsw" which should downgrade me from 4.2.1 to 4.1

3.) The downgrade was successful. I chose to to set it up as a new iPod and clicked on "Continue". I chose not to automtically sync anything.

4.) I ran "redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5" and I pointed it to the firmware file "iPod2,1_4.1_8B117_Restore.ipsw"

5.) It asks me if my iPod is an MC model and I said "Yes".

6.) It gives me the error "This version of redsn0w doesn't support the iPod Touch MC model yet. Check back again soon!"

So... where did I go wrong?
