How can I get more "available memory" like iPod usage?

I have very small available memory usage like with all my processes on my sb settings and I need information in how I can get more memory. when I was watching a YouTube video and I seen this one guy on iPod touch 2G he had much higher available memory than i do on iPod 2G so I need to know how too get more or why mine is so low... Thanks.

Don't multitask apps you don't need open. If you multitask games, close the ones you don't need, and if needed, close all the processes from SBSettings, and the click free up memory to get over 50 MB of free memory.

I have remove background but still bearly get 52 mb every now and then, and where is " free up memory at" I need a pro app that can fix this and remove processes that I can't stop with remove background.. Know any?
