Ipod 4 jalbreak; Greenpoison vs. limera1n?

Hey guys, still new on this JB thing. I recently got an ipod touch 4g with 4.1 installed. So correct me if im wrong..1st step to JB is saving my blobs with tinyumbrella..than use either greenpoison or limera1n?so if something goes wrong,i can restore to original OS..correct so far?

so what's d difference between Greenpoison & limera1n? which is better in terms of performance, less bugs/no bugs, stable?

what r d DO's & DON'Ts after JB?

Sounds like you got it down. I have actually found limera1n to be less buggy than greenpoison but prefer pwnage tool to all of them.

Yes pwnage tool covers all the devices now.

They all use the same exploit so the are all pretty similar as far as the end result is concerned.

May I ask Wat pwnage tool is? I've never jailbroken my iPod Touch and I don't want to stuff it up. Which is the best program to use?

Pwnage tool makes custom pre-jailbroken firmwares that you can restore to. The main use of it is to be able to restore and update to preserve baseband for iphones that are unlocked. On iPod's it is probably just easier to use one of the tools that do not require restoring like limera1n/greenpoison/redsnow

In my Opinion, greenpois0n is much cooler than limera1n, and has better instructions on entering DFU Mode.

I jb my iPod touch but now when I use intallous, and install a game it doesn't go to my home screen
