iPod touch 64gig stuck in restore loop

The iPod got wet, I admit that, but the headphone jack indicator is still white. I let it dry, in a bag of rice for a couple days and then I plugged it in, it seemed to work at first but it went into restore mode, then for a while it didn't seem to work at all and now itunes recognizes a device in restore mode, trys to restore it, seems to succeed but after it restarts itunes recognises a device in restore mode again... I don't know what to try now. :-(
