Just a problem.
I have just jailbroke my iTouch 4.1 MC model using the new Greenpois0n JB, but all the apps from cydia don't work. when i try to install something from dtunes it pulls up the song media file and not the usual download screen. Winterboard if i select invisible dock or whatever it raises all my apps up my screen. Is this a problem with the jailbreak or do I need to do something else?

GP does work on iPod touch 2G MC but I don't know how well it works.
The problems you're experiencing could just be a 4.1 incompatibility with Cydia apps. This happens on all devices since some apps aren't updated for 4.1. If ALL your apps don't work, you'll probably wanna restore and jb again.

Yes, It is jailbroken but as someone said that the apps are probably all incompatible with 4.1, although. I have a friend at my school same ipod 2 g but its mb model and he said his ipod works perfectly fine and hasn't experienced any problems with it.

MB models seems to have better luck with jb on 4.1. That's just the way it is.
As for your iPT, the only thing I can really say is to try all the tools you can that support your device. Or just redo it the way you already did. It's hard to diagnose such a general problem. It does seem jailbreak relevant tho.

Any suggestion for the 'tools to support' part of your post?

I have a guide that will show you what tools ate available for your device on 4.1. It's in the jailbreak section in general (it's stickied). Check the second guide labeled "jailbreak guide 4.1"
