What do you mean...
It happens sometimes for the first few times you load Cydia. Once you start opening Cydia up more often and load it, it'll speed up. Although, if it takes a 3GS such as yours longer than 5 minutes, it could be a problem and might need a restore/rejailbreak.Last edited by i.Annie; 11-09-2010 at 08:57 AM. Yes, it does. It happened to me before. But it might not be the case for you. Maybe your jailbreak just didn't go right, so restore and do it again.
My Cydia is currently running fine on my iPT 2G, on the iPhone 3G before I sold it, those are both slower devices that had trouble loading changes on iOS 4. Now they're fine b/c I have been loading the changes more frequently in Cydia because it is up to date. If you find that's not the case, instead of telling me "no", try restoring and jailbreaking at least. There is nothing more you can do.

How do you downgrade your iPod?

Ok, first, stop clogging up these forums by posting your question of how to downgrade. You've already done it to mine and now this. Try and look through the threads to see if anybody has the same question and is answered instead of asking it on threads that have a completely different subject.

Sorry, it's just that he has done this to my forum, so I just for angry at him for misusing the forums. I just hate people that don't have much common sense.

Yeah, just that some people are not so smart and the world is short of smart people.
And one idea, could you also post an alternate link in the e-mails to open up the ModMyi app tomake it easier for users who are viewing the e-mail from their iPod/iPhone.Last edited by lolzyeahtech141; 11-11-2010 at 08:25 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I'm sorry but I can't answer your question because you are hijacking other people's threads and not posting enough information about your device.
Some generations of the iPod Touch has different methods of downgrading and jailbreaking. So if you need a question to be answered, post which iPod Touch you have, what firmware you're on, and what firmware you want to downgrade to. If you don't post the information I just asked for, nobody can help you. Do not accuse us of not answering your questions if you are not going to ask the question correctly and provide the required information. Posting the same vague question in multiple threads is not going to get you answers if we don't know which iPod Touch you have and what firmware it's on and what you want to downgrade to.

So if I was to tell you that I had a MC model iPod Touch 4.1 software, you could tell me how to down grade to 4.0 software. Because that's all I need. To down grade my iPod. I have all the mods I need. (my kid brother got on my computer when I was fiddling with my iPod and somehow, with every ounce of his 4th grade knowledge, found the update button.)

For future reference, include whether it's a 2G or 3G iPT. Drawing from what I have tho, it's likely you'll need SHSHs to downgrade. If you haven't saved them before, you can't downgrade. You can check in Cydia on the homepage up top in green letters which ones you have saved. Let me know if you have any SHSHs saved and then I can further assist you.
