Jail break ipod touch 2g MC... help please

iPOD TOUCH 2G MC 4.1 JAILBREAK (KINDA ITS A DOWNGRADE BUT YOU GET YOUR JB)

1.Updated iPod to iOS4.1

2.Downloaded iREB-4.0.x-4.1.exe and iPod2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw,
iPod2,1_4.0_8A293_Restore.ipsw

3.Start iREB, choose offline method

4.choose the firmware 3.1.2

5.Now you can see a picture of snowflake on your iPOD

6.Start iTunes, shift+restore, choose iPod2,1_4.0_8A293_Restore.ipsw

(Between step 6 and 7 itunes would not recognize my ipod and i had to use Recboot to get it out of recovery, but after that it should pop right on.)

7.Now your iPod is downgraded

8.go to jailbreakme.com follow the instructions

9.Cydia is installed

So today I downloaded TinyUmbrella and clicked on save shsh and started the server. I noticed it showed shsh blobs for 4.1 and 4.0 dont know why or how since this is a new device from apple and I have never jb it or saved any shsh but as I am typing I am restoring to 4.0 with iTunes 10! and its now restarting so I will be heading over to jailbreakme.com in just a min.

Hey i did this once but im trying it now and im just getting the "Waiting for iBSS" msg

When i tried doing this before i got the snowflake logo but when i tried to restore it on itunes itunes didnt let me

I got it to work with iReb once I got firmwares from this site.

Firmwares I got elsewhere wouldn't work. Brand new ipod touch 3g 8gb MC model. Was on 4.1.

Now back on 4.0 and jailbreaking with jailbreakme.com right now
