iPod Touch 3G upgrade iOS 4.0 to iOS 4.1

Hi! I have an iPod Touch 3G with iOS 4.0 and a Sn0wbreeze jailbreak...
I'd like to upgrade to iOS 4.1 and use the new Limera1n jailbreak because is untethered.

How i have to make? Upgrade first using iTunes and then jailbreak with limera1n? Because i like to preserve all the extensions of Cydia that i have now installed. And all the configurations of the other apps that i have (most of them are cracked)

Every time you upgrade/restore your firmware, you will need to install everything all over again for reasons that are too technical to cover in a small amount of space. Use the restore button in iTunes and restore to 4.2.1 (the latest firmware) and use greenpo1son to jailbreak. Since you're an iPod, you'll never have to worry about losing a baseband; you can upgrade always as long as you have SHSH on file.
