limerain jailbreak iPod touch 4g

I can't get limera1n working on my iPod.
Every time I try to jb it it will go into recovery mode, ask me to press home + power and after doing that it will reboot back into recovery mode and it will say RETRY: Hold home + power.
I've done this 4 times on 4 different restores, tried ziphone to get it into DFU mode and TinyUmbrella to restore it.
Haven't had any luck.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Go into DFU mode an alternate way:
1. Once into recovery hold home for 5 seconds
2. Continue to hold home and press power for 4-5 seconds then let go. (screen will be black)
3. Continue to hold home until DFU is detected.

Do you have iTunes 10 open? In Task Manager (ctrl-alt-del), in the Processes list, do you see AppleMobileDeviceService and iTunesHelper? Apparently you need all those running. (I haven't actually done this yet, just been reading the posts.)

Yea I got it working, have to keep holding the power button down for like 5-10 seconds after it says release is -_-

How did you get it working? I hold mine for like 20-30seconds and it s stuck on the hold power+home !!

how do you uninstall limera1n? i dont get an uninstall option when i click the limera1n icon so i cant do it thru the app...idk how to ssh...any ideas?

I have the same problem with iPhone 4 FW 4.1 BB 01.59.00. Can't use Limera1n or GreenPoisi0n or CFW since my phone cannot get into DFU mode. Does anyone have a solution. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
