Help downgrading to 3.1.2

I have an ipod 2nd gen with 4.1 firmware. Can anyone help me or guide me through on how to succesfully downgrade to the 3.1.3 firmware. Itunes keeps giving me "error 1013" or somethin like that....I'm using windows btw

you can't downgrade with 4.1 fw.. sorry

You can. I have already twice, ihad downgraded back to 4.0.
Only thing that i heard and tried was that you have to be using itunes 9.2 or earlier. And ironicly i only have two friend that are running with it
