JB on 4.1

I have iOS 4.1 on my iPod Touch 2G MB model. I tried to jailbreak with Sn0wbreeze 2.0.2, and created the custom firmware. I restored with it, and the only thing that's changed is the custom boot logo. There's no Cydia or anything. Where's the rest of the jailbreak?

Try making another custom firmware again. Something may have gone wrong the first time.

Yeah, I think that was the problem. The first one was like 17 MB and the new one is 322.

Ya something definitely went wrong that first time, I am surprised it restored at all with it.

It didn't even restore, all my stuff was still on it.

Did you download iReb to bypass the error?

I made a new IPSW so I could have a custom boot logo. But now I keep getting error 40, even with iReb.

Is this an MB or MC model?

That's weird, MB models should be fine to use custom fw.

The only thing I can think of is that you'd probably have to have SHSHs to downgrade and jb with a nonuserland tool then would you be able to use a custom fw created by sn0wbreeze.

It's weird because I JB'd just the other day. I did it again because the first time was with the default sn0wbreeze boot logo and I wanted a custom one. I'll just keep trying I guess or just wait for limera1n.
