    Exclamation Why firmware is in ZIP ?????

    Hey guys, i just download the firmware 4.0 for to jailbreak ipod touch 2g but it is in a ZIP file. i should be .ipsw ?????

    Sometimes your browser will download in .zip instead. Just rename the .zip to .ipsw and you will be fine.

    Another one problem i got, i cant upgrade to 4.0 from iTunes!!!
    Shall i upgrade my itunes to 10 ( 9 is the presen version) !!

    You need at least itunes 9.2 to upgrade to 4.0. iTunes 10 is fine too.
