URGENT - downgrade from 4.x to 3.1.x

Hi Everyone,

This may ba a cross post, but I really am screwed and I need some drastic help.

The end users are upgrading the OS on the iPod touch devices.

I need, no i MUST bring these devices back to version 3.1.x of the OS.

I did not jailbreak them, they are fresh, right out of the factory devices.

I did not save the SHSH files for each device, simply because they are not and were not to be jailbroken.

I really need to get these back to this OS version.

Any ideas, other than the SOL stupid answer, would be appreciated.

You can restore a iPod touch 2g to 3.1.3 without SHSH. Just put it in dfu and shift click restore to it.

I can't restore it to 4.0?

Download tiny umbrella, click on advanced and try to save your SHSH for 4.0.1
