Can't jailbreak itouch 3.1.3 mc model

Hi ,
I've been trying to use 'spirit' but for somreason my computer just clears it (it dissapears)
I'm on windows vista if that effects it ?
And also been trying to use redsn0w 0.9.2 something like that, but it requires 3.1.2 when I'm on 3.1.3.
So then I try and downgrade it on iTunes using the restore shift thing.
But then iTunes comes up with error code 3194 or something like that. Or sometimes it's 'eligble request' .

Some I kind of stuck
