Cydia won't open

I recently jailbroke my iPod touch and I was using cydia to download themes and other stuff and then cydia wouldn't open. I tried everything I found on the Internet. For some reason in mobile terminal the apt-get function doesn't work and I don't have opensshor the file manager. What do I do????

Try reinstaling MobileTerminal or unistall it. What Generation do you have?

Go into cydia, search mobileterminal<<< 1word
Reinstall from there

I've had this happen before, if you haven't got ifile or ssh I thing your pretty much boned!!

Ya I've pretty much given up cuz I downloaded all the themes I want and stuff and I have ********** so I think I'm set but it still sucks

Is there any way to download them without cydia

Yes if you have rock, search Rockapp in cydia

Cydia will not open on my 3Gs, 32 GB with OS 4.0 installed. It just started to happen. What can I do to get it to reopen properly?

What did you jailbreak with? Jailbreakme.com?

Try respringing or rebooting. If that doesn't work, you may have to reinstall Cydia by grabbing the files; if that's the case, I'd just restore and save yourself the trouble.

Ssh to var/lib/apt/lists
Delete everything EXCEPT the partial folder and respring.

I know for sure jailbreakme.com is having some bad problems with cydia, so restore your iPod and jailbreak with redsn0w or really anything except jailbreakme.com
