Strange icon in statusbar?

There is a strange symbol on the right on my status bar. It only shows up when im in certain apps, such as mail, app store, photo's, etc. Can anyone tell me what it is? Here is a pic https://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&i...disp=inline&zw I have jailbroken my ipod touch. I think it might have been ever since in installed iPhone modem but idk, because I uninstalled iphone modem and it's still there.

you can't link to the picture in your email!

Also if its a square looking shape and you have backgrounder installed its probably the Backgrounded app icon.

Ya it's backgrounder you can disable it by going into the backgrounder app and unchecking the option to add an icon to the status bar or something
