    Default Device not eligible for requested build

    I have an Ipod touch 2nd gen 32 gb 3.1.2. I tried to restore it but it said "Device not eligible for requested build." Then I tried to shift restore with 4.0 file from iPod, iPhone and iPad Firmware Download and it turned my ipod to recovery mode. I plugged in my ipod and click restore but now it has the the picture of itunes with the cord. I tried to do dfu mode then restore but it still says "Device not eligible for requested build." I need help please.

    EDIT: It is a mg model and I have a shsh blob on cydia
