Well, I restored my iPod Touch 3G 3.1.3 because of the cydia errors that I was having, I restored it from my iPod not my PC and then my iPod got stuck at the booting logo, ive tried using 3G 3.1.3 firmware, 3G 3.1.2 firmware, 2G 3.1.2 firmware but it always says incompaitable! And I don't want to update to 4.0.2 because I won't be able to jailbreak it. Help.
Do you have shsh blobs saved for any of the 3.1.x's if so you can direct iTunes to verify with sauriks server instead of apple who denie the restore. If not your only option is to update to 4.0.x
