Rock (your phone) Bricked my ipod

I was using rock on my iPod recently and I downloaded a theme and rock crashed. The theme appeared in winterboard, so i tried to use it and I got the sad iphone screen. DON'T USE ROCKAPP!

What firmware are you currently running and what jailbreak did you use and model would be useful e.g iPod touch 3g 3.1.3 spirit

Which theme? What is the "sad iPhone screen??

It was the worst iphone theme or something like that, i can't exactly remember the name. The description was, Are you tired of having really cool themes? Well download this to get a terrible theme! I uninstalled it and it still was giving me the sad iphone screen after that.

It's most probably the theme you dled wasn't yet compatible with 4.0 yet.

But if I deleted it and it still came up with the sad iPhone after restarting my iPod, I don't think that a theme can effect it. I mean, a theme is just a bunch of pictures in folders.

Themes also change lists and strings as well. It is more than just pictures

Rock seems to be down. All I get is the app border with an empty white window. I tried reinstalling RockApp at Cydia, but it didn't help.

Sad iPhone screen = safe mode. (I think that is what he is meaning.)


Can you uninstall the theme with Cydia?
