ipod touch 3.1.1 mod

Hey guys, nice website. I am terrible with things like this. I have an ipod touch with 3.1.1 firmware. I cant seem to find a jailbreak for it anywhere and dont want to do anything wrong. Is there one? I dont know how to upgrade or downgrade, other than upgrading to 4.0, which I know wont be jailbreakable.

Can someone point me in the direction of an easy guide to get this done.

Well I don't know of a specific jailbreak but I would just type your iPod generation and firmware and if it's an mc model or not into YouTube e.g ( for me ) 3g 3.1.3 mc model jailbreak hope this helps if no YouTube results try google

now that the iphone 4 is jailbroke, does that mean the os 4.0 for ipod touch is jailbroken too? i really dont get how this stuff works but that seems like it would make sense

There is a jailbreak for 4.0 now it's called something jailbreakme.com and you can do it on your iPod no computer needed
