iPod 3G 3.1.3 - should I upgrade to ios4?
Hello there!
I just got an iPod 3G 32GB today. I have an iPhone 3Gs 32GB and as a lot of dumbs I upgraded to IOS4, so I don't want to repeat the same mistake again.
This iPod is not jailbreaked and have firmware 3.1.3. What should I do? jailbreak 3.1.3 then upgrade? downgrade to 3.1.2 then upgrade? I'm a little confused.
Thanks for any help guys!!

If you want to jailbreak to iOS 4, just restore and update, with a DFU restore just to be safe. So, just put it in DFU mode, and just click restore. Then jailbreak with jailbreakme.com or the mirror site jailbreakme.modmyi.com.

But if you want to jailbreak 3.1.3 I would recommend spirit, one click jailbreak practically

theres not much differences, besides the multi-tasking battery % and wallpapper that they added natively
but all that can be added on 3.1.x via cydia appsi have 20 lockerz invites pm me your email if you want one

tbh, i would wait until winterboard and cydia bugs are worked out on ios4.
stick with 3.1.3 until then.
