Help no Shsh blobs in ipod touch 3g iOS 4

I updated my ipod touch 3g and forgot to save the shsh blobs, so I'm stuck in iOS 4 there must be a solution please help!!!

As i just got my ipod, I am not familiar with the history of the jailbreak progress regarding updates...

Is it likely at some point in the near future the 4.0 firmware will be broken, or the ability to downgrade from it to 3.1.3 without shsh blobs?

Just looking for opinions here..

the 4.0 jailbreak is coming soon, one for all devices. before the site sinfuliphone went down it was reported on there that it would be in the very near future, however no release date is or will ever be given. so we wait.
