    Default No custom home screen wallpaper

    I updated (to 4.0) and jailbroke my 2G ipod today, and everything went peachy except that I cannot have custom home screen wallpaper. Lock screen wallpaper works fine. When choosing wallpaper it does not give me the option to set it for home screen.

    I jailbroke using redsn0w 0.9.5b5-5.
    I tried rejailbreaking it, with no luck.
    I tried jailbreaking it with snowbreeze 1.7, but during the restoration process I get a 1601 cannot restore iPod error.

    So am I out of luck here or is there something I can do?

    Well after a whole bunch of meddling, ssh-ing into the ipod, and editing/deleting of several files I have come to the conclusion that the issue was winterboard.
    It seems that some themes/addons clash with the ability to set custom home screens.
    My solution was to delete winterboard, set custom wallpaper, reinstall winterboard, and enable themes/addons one by one and seeing which mess up the wallpaper and which don.t

    SSH over to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app. Find N72AP.plist find where it says
    Code:
    <string>iPod</string>
    . Add this
    Code:
    <key>homescreen-wallpaper</key>
    		<true/>
    .
    Am firin ma lasah
