iPod Touch 2G (MC Model) Possible Jailbreak?

Hey everyone.

I'm new to this forum, and this is my first post, so please don't flame me about "this wont work" "that wont work" etc...

Anyways, I came across a guide that states it IS possible to jailbreak iPod Touch 2G MC Model.

I myself do not quite understand the directions. I followed everything correctly, but iTunes gives me a 16XX error.

it would be best to wait for an upcoming jailbreak from Comex

Yes, you can use that to jailbreak you iPod Touch 2G MC Model. But you need to be on firmware 3.1.2 and it is complicated. Like Sky King said you should just wait for Comex to release his jailbreak.

At the moment it's not ready. Especially with the new firmwares coming out. You can follow his twitter for updates.

No release date yet. Musclenerd said not this week or the next because Comex has been on vacation with no computer.
