Ipod 8 GB Redsnow problem :-(

Alright so I have a 8 GB Ipod Touch

Updated my ipod with 4.0 by Itunes

Now I downloaded a custom firmware 4.0 and the redsnow 0.9.5b


and when I find the ipsw using redsnow , it says its unable to recognize it


Please help me guys

redsn0w is for jailbreaking and unlocking(iphones) you use the ORIGINAL firmware with redsn0w for it to work

customer firmwares you installed directly to your iphone /ipod via iTunes.

Hold shift whilst clicking the update/restore button to allow you to manually choose the customer firmware.

I know it's used for jailbreaking

but then I downloaded a custom firmware because redsnow needs it

and when I click on browse and direct it to the custom downloaded ipsw (Not the one from Itunes) it's unable to recognize and gives the error that I showed earlier
