Where to purchase 3.0 firmware upgrade for Ipod Touch 2g 2.2.1 MB

I never upgraded my touch to 3.0 and now I am unable to find the 3.0 firmware upgrade. I don't want to upgrade to 4.0 because I need to upgrade itunes to 9.2. I don't want to do that because I have a iphone 3GS 3.1.2 that is JB and I believe I've read that I shouldn't upgrade itunes at this time.

Any ideas? I also want to JB my touch after I upgrade. It's never been jailbroken before.

you can upgrade itunes and there would be no problems. as long as you dont run the spirit jailbreak with the new ituenes. if you hada a previous spirit jailbreak you can still sync and stuff, but you cant run and jailbreak succesfully a new device with itunes 9.2. and heres a website to do so on other firmwares
