Can I jailbreak os4 if I used spirit before?

I'm new to this forum.
I want to upgrade to os4 and jailbreak.
I keep reading places that I can't jailbreak os4 if I used spirit to jailbreak my ipod 2g before.
Is there a way around this?

1. Spirit does NOT support iOS4
2. You CAN JailBreak it but not with spirit
3. You can use RedSn0w 0.9.5

I may not be clear enough with what im saying. But I read places that redsnow wont work on jailbreaking 0s4 is you've previously used spirit to jailbreak.

Or a way to answer my question would be, can you jailbreak os4 with redsnow if you've never jailbroke before at all.
If thats the can I don't see why it wouldn't work

Answer: Yes, you can jailbreak iPod Touch 2G that is not jailbroken at the moment using RedSn0w 0.9.5 Beta 5 (CLICK ME).

As long as you definitely have a MB iPod 2G then it will work with 4.0.0 Firmware!
