Backing Up SHSH Without Being Jailbroken

Got my replacement iPod Touch, luckily it was on 3.1.3, so how do I go about saving my SHSH blobs on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit?

I've done the AutoSHSH from iH8sn0w, just want to make another backup before I do anything

Also, uninstalled iTunes 9.2, and installing 9.1, I can just normally use Spirit, correct? Any insight would be appreciated.

There is spirit for itunes 9.2 out there but I can't remember where it is
Also, are you sure the SHSH you got from ih8snow is valid?
Apple stopped signing 3.1.3 already so there should be no way you can retrieve it now

TinyUmbrella allows you to save your blobs for the current firmware without being jailbroken, I saved my 4.0 from my iPhone4. But as quioxz said, they stopped signing 3.1.3.

What is its size? If it's not around 60KB, it probably is invalid

Nope, AutoSSH just runs into Java errors, even with different computers =/

Yup, I had TinyUmbrella, doesn't detect the iPod.. (Does it need to be in Recovery Mode/DFU Mode?)

When I entered the ECID, it just runs into errors saying it's not available for saving..

Looks like I missed the boat by a week.
I thought somebody said you could save via Umbrella without needing to ping Apple?
I'm on 3.1.3 now?

Quick clarification. Did you use autoshsh for 3.1.3 to backup your ios 4? I have a 3GS running JB ios4 and Tiny Umbrella runs fine. However, Cydia never shows my shsh for ios4 on file. It only says I have 3.1.3.
I would like to try autoshsh but there is no version for ios4. Please let know.
