ipod 2g non MC

I downloaded pwnage tool 4.0 and followed the instructions

i downloaded iOS 4 a few days ago,

have itunes 9.2

and when i try to restore it with my custom restore (opt+restore on itunes) it prepares it to restore for a while, then brings up the unknown error 1604

I ahve never jailbroke or anything before, is there something i have to do before using pwnage tool 4.0 that i'm missing?

Restore clean iOS4 using iTunes, as in the proper official version, then find Redsn0w 9.5b4-5, it's the only available tool for 2Gs at the moment

Sad to say I think your ISP is what's blocking you, 'cause I get it fine. Try downloading it using a different internet connection?
