Hey, first post here, I got my hands on a 3.1.2 3G MC model iPod and used Spirit on it to jailbreak it successfully.

However I wanted to upgrade it to 3.1.3.

Sadly iTunes was having none of it, so I turned to Google and found a video guide that apparently allows the upgrade.

It involved restoring the 3.1.2 firmware, Jailbreaking with Redsn0w 9.2 and then using Blackra1n for some reason. However, this obviously did not work and I'm now stuck with an iPod stuck in the recovery loop.

I've tried using iReb to get it out of Recovery, but I'm on Win7 x64 and can't find any guide for LibUSB and want to avoid updating to 4.0 at all costs since there's no jailbreak for MC models as of yet. Hoping someone could help me either get it back to functional 3.1.2 or help me get 3.1.3 on it. I used the SHSH saving link in Cydia for 3.1.2 and last I saw it said it was waiting on the TSS request or something. Could anyone give any advice?

EDIT: I feel like a huge idiot for even following that video in the first place. If it helps I've got a fully functional OSx86 install as well.

EDIT2: A bit of reasearch last night and I realized that it's a complete waste. Just gonna have to wait for an MC jailbreak for iOS4, this happens to me just as Winterboard gets fixed lol. Just my luck

Is it Fixed, Hold Home + Power to force turn off then recover if not.
I also am in your situation, I have iPod Touch MC Model 4.0 and need to jailbreak, Let me know if you find a way to jailbreak it!
