iPod Touch won't restore

I was updating from 3.1.3 to 4.0 today and I accidentally unplugged my iPod Touch. Then it went into recovery mode. And I have been trying to restore it, but it is stuck on the last part of 'Restoring iPod Software'. What should I do?

Try leting it die down, then restoring it with iTunes
